Howdy! My name’s Jordan. I’m 28-years-old and currently call San Diego, CA home.
I enjoy many different pastimes, but my favorite are by foot and by bike. I especially enjoy these when they’re a little daunting and I’ve got friends by my side.
In 2017, I hiked the first 1,017 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail until I got medevaced off trail after falling 30 feet in the northern Sierra and banging myself up pretty bad. Two years of recovery later, I had the privilege of doing my first solo bike tour from my Seattle apartment to Sonora Pass, CA, to finish the remaining 1,650 miles of trail up to Manning Park, BC. Those two summers outside were wildly formative and have shaped the past decade.
Since then, I’ve been fortunate to keep finding different ways to move on dirt, whether that’s the Great Divide Mountain Biking Route or an evening run in my local canyons. I wear many different hats (physical therapist, photographer, trail-runner, bikepacker, etc, etc,) and I’m stoked to use this space to bridge these different worlds. I’m glad you’re along for the ride.
